| juu 中 じゅう Noun meaning throughout, within, all over 1. After noun expressing period of time 私は冬休み中スキーをしていました。 Watashi wa fuyu yasumi juu sukii o shite imashita. I was skiing throughout the winter vacation. 一日中テレビを見ていました。 Ichi nichi juu terebi o mite imashita. I was watching TV all day long. 2. After noun expressing period of time, followed by に ni 今週中に仕上げてください。 Konshuu juu ni shiagete kudasai. Please complete it within this week. 3. After noun expressing place 日本中を旅行したいと思います。 Nihon juu o ryokou shitai to omoimasu. I think I'd like to travel all over Japan. -> See also: 中に chuu ni |
