| Ba… hodo ば... ほど Phrase meaning: the more… the more It follows the stem of ba-form of verb or adjective. The dictionary form of the same verb or adjective is repeated before hodo. 1. Used with verb 練習すればするほどうまくなります。 Renshuu sureba suru hodo umaku narimasu. The more you practice, the better you can do. 2. Used with adjective 早ければ早いほどいい。 Hayakereba hayai hodo ii.
