Мы с тобой повстречались, волны весело
мчались,
И дарило нам море белопенный прибой.
Позабыв всё на свете, мы плескались как дети,
И кружился над нами небосвод голубой. |
We met with you, waves raced joyfully
And presented us (made a gift to us) the sea a /white foamy/ wash
/While we forgot/ all in the world, we were splashing as kids
And was circling above us the blue firmament |
Дни за днями летели, наступали метели,
Белоснежные вьюги окружали наш дом.
Мы глаза закрывали, и опять уплывали
В синеокое море, не покрытое льдом. |
Days after days were passing, came (/were arriving/) the
blizzards
/Of white snow/ snow-storms encircles our house
We were closing (our) eyes and again were swimming-away
to the blue-eyes sea, not covered by the ice |

Разогнал ветер тучи, дождь весенний певучий
Веток яблонь коснулся, и сады зацвели.

The wind dispelled /big clouds/, a spring singing rain
Touched the branches of apple-trees, and gardens started blooming
This means that soon we'll meet (/see each other/) with the sea,
this tender miracle at the palms of the earth |
