Why didn’t you ask him to stop smoking?

我说了。但是他不理我。他一边抽烟，一边大声地打手机。我非常生气。所以我向服务员投诉。
wǒ shuō le 。dànshì tā bùlǐ wǒ 。tā yībiān chōuyān ，yībiān dàshēng de dǎshǒujī 。wǒ fēicháng shēngqì 。suǒyǐ wǒ xiàng fúwùyuán tóusù 。
I did and he just ignored me. He was smoking and talking loudly on his mobile. I was so pissed off. So I complained to the waiter.

What did the waiter say? How did he handle it?

服务员很尴尬，他说那个男人是饭店的老板。他没办法。

The waiter was really embarrassed and told me that the guy was the boss of the restaurant. There was nothing he could do.
