“Do you think the world is beautiful in your eyes?

珍珍看到这一幕，知道小梅的心脏病犯了，
她把手伸向床边的紧急按钮。
然而，手却在空中停住了。
看着地上痛苦挣扎的小梅，她突然有了另外一个念头。		 Zhen Zhen watched the whole thing, she knew Xiao Mei was having a heart attack.
She reached her hand out to the emergency button.
However, her hand stopped in the mid air.
Looking at the painful wiggling of Xiao Mei, she had a different idea.
zhēn zhēn kàn dào zhè yī mù， zhīdào xiǎo méi de xīnzàng bìngfàn le，
tā bǎshǒu shēn xiàng chuángbiān de jǐnjí ànniǔ。
rán’ér， shǒu què zài kōngzhōng tíngzhù le。
kàn zhe dìshang tòngkǔ zhēngzhá de xiǎo méi， tā tūrán yǒule lìngwài yī gè niàntou。		  
时间一分一秒过去了，小梅发不出声音，只能用求助的眼神看着珍珍。
而珍珍却慢慢把手收了回来，用被子蒙住了自己的脸。		 Time passed by little by little. Xiao Mei could not talk anymore, all she could do was looking up at Zhen Zhen for help.
But all Zhen Zhen did was to take her hand back, and to cover her face with her quilt.
shíjiān yī fēn yī miǎo guòqu le， xiǎo méi fā bù chū shēngyīn， zhǐnéng yòng qiúzhù de yǎnshén kàn zhe zhēn zhēn。

当珍珍的脸再次从被子里露出来的时候，病房里已经安静得让人害怕。
小梅躺在地上，一动不动。		 When Zhen Zhen’s face emerged from her quilt again, the room had turned hauntingly quiet.
Xiao Mei was lying on the floor motionlessly.
dāng zhēn zhēn de liǎn zàicì cóng bèizi lǐ lù-chūlái de shíhou， bìngfáng lǐ yǐjīng ānjìng dé ràng rén hàipà。
xiǎo méi tǎng zài dìshang， yīdòngbùdòng。		  

这种安静让珍珍感到从未有过的恐惧，于是她迅速按下了按钮。。。

 The quietness scared Zhen Zhen to death, she then pressed down the emergency button in no time…
zhèzhǒng ānjìng ràng zhēn zhēn gǎndào cóngwèi yǒu guò de kǒngjù， yúshì tā xùnsù ànxià le ànniǔ。。。  
因为抢救得太晚, 小梅没有被救活。 Xiao Mei was not able to be revived due to the long delay before rescue.
yīnwèi qiǎngjiù dé tài wǎn, xiǎo méi méiyǒu bèi jiùhuó。  
小梅死后，她靠窗的病床空了出来。
珍珍要求护士把她换到小梅的床上，这样，她就可以用自己的眼睛欣赏窗外的世界了。		 Upon Xiao Mei’s death, her bed became vacant.
Zhen Zhen asked the nurses to move her to Xiao Mei’s bed, so that she could enjoy watching the outside world with her own eyes.
xiǎo méi sǐhòu， tā kàochuāng de bìngchuáng kōng le chūlái。
zhēn zhēn yāoqiú hùshi bǎ tā huàn dào xiǎo méi de chuáng shàng， zhèyàng， tā jiù kěyǐ yòng zìjǐ de yǎnjing xīnshǎng chuāng wài de shìjiè le。		  
几个护士满足了她的愿望，把她抬到新床上后, 就走开了。 The nurses satisfied her wishes. They moved her to the new bed and then left.
jǐge hùshi mǎnzú le tā de yuànwàng， bǎ tā tái dào xīn chuáng shàng hòu, jiù zǒukāi le。  
珍珍急不可耐地坐了起来，伸着脖子向窗外看去。 Zhen Zhen couldn’t wait any longer and sat herself up, she stretched her neck and looked outside of the window.
zhēn zhēn jíbùkěnài de zuò le qilai， shēn zhe bózi xiàng chuāng wài kàn qù。  
可是，让她吃惊的是，窗外没有池塘，也没有公园，没有半只鸭子，也没有半个人。 However, to her surprise, there was no pond and no park. Not even a duck, nor a human being outside of the window.
kěshì， ràng tā chījīng de shì， chuāng wài méiyǒu chítáng， yě méiyǒu gōngyuán， méiyǒu bàn zhǐ yāzi， yě méiyǒu bàn gèrén。  
有的，只是一堵高高的, 灰色的围墙。 All that was there was only a wall that was tall and gray.
yǒude， zhǐshì yī dǔ gāo gāo de, huīsè de wéiqiáng。
