~から - ~kara
  から added to a sentence means "because." The explanation clause can be added into the sentence using から: explanation + から.
   
  explanation から, situation.
      = situation, because explanation
      = explanation, therefore, situation
私は 朝ごはんを 食べません でした。
忙しかった です から。
I didn't have breakfast.
I was busy because.

watashi-wa asagohan-o tabemasen deshita.
isogashi-katta desu kara.

 
   
あした しけん が  ある から、
わたし は こんばん べんきょうします。

I will study this evening,
because we will have an exam tomorrow.

(= We will have an exam tomorrow, therefore, I will study this evening.)

ashita shiken ga aru kara,
watashi wa konban benkyoo-shimasu.
 
   
寒かった から、
出かけません でした。
We did not go out,
because it was cold.

(= It was cold, therefore, I didn't go out.)

samu-katta kara,
dekakemasen deshita.
 
   
  Long (polite) and short (informal) forms are both used before kara.
(However, the long form before kara is inappropriate when the entire sentence ends in a short form).
かぶき の  きっぷ が あります から、
いっしょに み に いきましょう。
Let's go see Kabuki. I have tickets.

kabuki no kippu ga arimasu kara,
issho-ni mi ni ikimashoo.
