 You don't disturb me
     
1 Я обещал кончить эту работу до (1) вечера. I promised to finish this work for [until] to-night.
     
2 Это что за работа? It is what kind of work?

4 не особенно трудно, a всё-таки нужно внимание. (it is) not :particularly difficult, but anyway it needs attention.

но если вы хотите вернуться в семь часов,

As you see;
but if you will come back at 7 [hours,]
     
7 мы пойдём обедать вместе, we shall go and dine together,
     
8 и потом будем делать, что вам будет угодно. and afterwards we shall do what you [will] like.
     
9 Ладно; a жаль что вы теперь не свободны; All right, but it is a pity that you are not free now,
     
10 я хотел вам показать что-то интересное. l wanted to show you something interesting.
     
11 Нечего делать, к сожалению (3). Nothing doing, unhappily;

Но, садитесь и читайте что-нибудь,

 but sit down and read something,
13 вы мне совсем не мешаете. you do not disturb me at all.

я лучше (4) уйду, и вернусь в семь часов непременно.		 No, thank you;
I had better go [I better shall go] and come back at 7, without fail.

10 Этого слова нет в переводе. This word (genit.: negative) is not in the translation (preposit.).

("Нибудь" comes from будь, be).

I don't feel like (going) to the theatre; I will rather go to bed.
 

NOTES - ЗАМЕТКИ

До утра, до вечера, до завтра вечером : until morning, until night, until to-morrow night.

The preposition с, with, has other meanings, especially from, since;
it is then followed by the genitive.
С того момента: since or from that moment.
С утра до вечера: from morning to night.

К сожалению is the contrary of к счастью, by luck.
Сожаление, in which we recognize жаль, (it is a) pity, means regret, pity,
whereas счастье is happiness, luck.

Лучше (mind hard L!) : better, preferably, rather, governs the genitive.
— Вы пишете лучше меня: you write better than I [of me].

Развлекаться, to divert oneself ; развлечение, entertainment.
Это будет вам развлечение: this will be a distraction for you.

Поп : the pope or papa.

Земля, the earth. В землю, into the earth (acc. of motion).
В земле, in the earth. На земле, on the earth.
