	NOTES.	AK-NOTE
1	Одно и то же: a current phrase for : it is the same thing. — Одно comes from один, one. In fact as you can see it in paragraph 3, it is the neuter of один.
2	For there are 3 genders in Russian : masculine, feminine and neuter. And слово, word, is neuter as most nouns in -о are. — By the way, другое is the neutral form of другой, but we shall leave it at that for the moment. — These 2 words have nothing to do with друг, friend.	другой = other (another person) другое = other thing
3	We again anticipate here, with говорят, (they) speak, or say. We have not yet come to the plural of verbs.
4	Надо, (it is) necessary, implies an obligation, whereas нужно expresses rather a need. — Что вам нужно? What do you need? — Вам надо знать это слово: you must know this word [for you (it is) necessary].
5	Молодец! (mind hard L, and the о's nearly а's !) means : a young fellow, but here corresponds to : bravo !	Молодец = good boy, excellent person Молодец = a young guy, a young person
6	Do you recognize the root of повторять, to repeat? Remember "втор" in второй урок, second lesson.

	Let us read again a few useful phrases: всё-таки, anyway; but; still... одно и то же, the same thing; так и надо, that's the thing; so it should be, so you must do... молодец ! bravo!
