One more "little time" (one more "attempty"), one more time
  NOTES. AK NOTE:

Я [йа] : I (subject).
Меня [меня] : me (direct object).
Мне : to me (indirect object).
(as in "give to me" - "дай мне")

Я говорю : I speak;
извините меня : excuse me ;
он мне помогает : he helps me [to me].

Except for some short words,
the Russian letter я [ya] under stress is pronounced like "a" in British-English "man".
2 Сказать is to tell, narrate;
говорить is to speak or say.
There are more differences between these two verbs and we shall see them later on.		 Сказать - "to tell/say something one time"
говорить - "to be talking"

The song today takes the place of the exercise. It is the chorus of the "Volga Boatmen",
which is probably not unknown to you.
As its words are extremely simple, practice crooning it.
(Every record contains a snatch from a popular Russian song).
The music helps to remember the words — which are not to be found in our lessons —
and gives the records the same attractiveness as the cartoons do to the book).
