Soyez bien avec votre concierge (1) Stand (be) well with your " concierge "
1 Il importe d'être en bons termes avec son concierge.
2 C'est à la fois un tyran et un serviteur (2), un démon et un ange gardien;
3 il représente le propriétaire de l'immeuble (3), et est en même temps au service des locataires.
4 Qui reçoit le « denier à Dieu » (4) quand vous emménagez ? — Le concierge.
5 Qui vous présente la quittance (5) de loyer, et touche l'argent du terme (6) ? — Le concierge.
6 Qui reçoit votre courrier pour vous, et vous le monte quand cela lui plaît? — Le concierge.
