1 — Monsieur veut-il (2) déjeuner?
2 C'est l'employé du wagon-restaurant qui, passant dans le couloir,
3 s'est arrêté (3) à la porte du compartiment.
4 — Deuxième service à midi et demi, troisième service à deux heures.
5 — Et le premier service? demande Paul.
6 — Il n'y a plus de place, monsieur; c'est complet.
7 — Alors, donnez-moi un ticket pour le deuxième.
8 — Voici, monsieur.
9 — Merci; le wagon-restaurant est-il loin?
10 — En tête du train; vous avez trois voitures à traverser.
11 Resté seul, Paul lit (4) le prospectus que l'employé lui a donné :
12 Déjeuner à prix-fixe : quinze francs, vin non compris (5).
13 Hors-d'œuvre (6) variés, poisson, viande garnie,
14 légume, fromage et dessert.
15 Il est onze heures dix;
16 c'est encore presque une heure et demie à attendre; c'est long.		 — 1 Will you be wanting lunch, Sir?
— 2 It is the attendant (employee) from the dining-car who, passing in the corridor,
— 3 has stopped ("is" arrested himself) at the door of the compartment.
